It was difficult to order-in feeders for the water dragons during the Winter because of the cold Wyoming weather, and in Summer because it was frequently too hot in the southern States where the insect farms tend to be.  Due to the exorbitant costs of shipping, and the high dead-losses from shipping stress, the only way to make a profit breeding lizards in Wyoming was to produce all the insects in-house.  And so we did.

When raising ravenous baby predators, variety is key.  In addition to the usual dubias, crickets, mealworms and black soldier fly larvae, we experimented with other feeders most reptile breeders overlook, such as darkling beetles and adult soldier flies.  After several seasons of work, we have perfected our methods for producing these exciting feeders.

We have scaled-up our insect operation, but retained the attention to detail that is required to produce the top-shelf feeders we demand for our lizards.  You will see that attention to detail in the health, vibrant colors, and superior egg quality of your own animals
